ZOOPP™
ZOOPP™ is a fantastic new innovation developed specifically for CompCare members by Universal. ZOOPP™ stands for “zero out of pocket payment” and has been developed to ensure that the friction is taken out of paying medical claims.

This new multi-payment gateway ensures that the healthcare provider is paid automatically on your behalf, by using each of the sources of funds, including the benefits on CompCare, the mediBucks™ “pay-as-you-go” savings account, and a Universal Gap Cover product, as and when required.
Universal Gap Cover (uGap)
The Universal Gap Cover Plans are designed to complement the cover offered by CompCare Medical Scheme to ensure minimal financial impact on members when faced with an in-hospital event. It seamlessly integrates with CompCare’s various benefit options via a mediBucks account. This ensures that a healthcare provider can be paid directly, without the member having to pay first and subsequently claim back from the insurer.
mediBucks
mediBucks is an incredible primary healthcare solution. This straightforward and effective product empowers employers with an innovative savings platform that opens the door to affordable private primary healthcare and other value-added benefits for employees.

mediBucks provides a totally flexible, dedicated savings account specifically for healthcare expenses. This allows pro-active and cost-effective budgeting and saving for staff primary healthcare costs. It also allows seamless access to quality healthcare at pre-negotiated rates for clinic and GP consultations, where required.
Universal Emergency and Accident Health Plan
Universal Emergency and Accident Health Plan is a new addition to our product range. This highly affordable emergency health insurance product provides cover for accidental and emergency events in appropriate private facilities.
It offers excellent value to employer groups and individuals looking for peace of mind when faced with an unforeseen accident or healthcare emergency.
Universal Health and Accident Plan (uHap)
We are passionately committed to provide all South Africans with access to budget-sensitive, quality healthcare. Universal offers innovative and affordable approved, demarcated health insurance plans.
uHap is a licensed insurance alternative to employers who want to provide specified health cover to employees and their dependents who would otherwise not be able to afford private medical scheme cover.
